Sonstorps Mekaniska is a pure contract manufacturing company specializing in licensed welding of large beam structures, lifting tools, and pressure vessels. Your Responsibilities

As a detail welder at Sonstorps Mekaniska, you will have a dynamic and technically varied role in a smaller, close-knit team with experienced colleagues. You will be involved and responsible for the entire manufacturing process and have the opportunity to develop your skills through new challenges and varying details.

You will, among other things:

• Be responsible for welding details according to drawings and ensuring high quality
• Work with black material (unalloyed steel), but stainless steel is also involved
• Use wire and TIG as the most common welding methods
• Handle short series and many new details, which requires safe reading of drawings and flexibility

This is a long-term role for those who want to develop technically, take responsibility, and be an important part of a manufacturing chain where every detail counts.

Your Profile

You work carefully and in a structured manner, like to take responsibility, and appreciate the variation in short series and new details. You thrive in a smaller team where collaboration and engagement are highly valued. With a technical interest and curiosity, you want to develop and take the next step as a welder. The role suits you if you want to contribute with quality and precision in a company where craftsmanship and results truly matter.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A relevant technical education, preferably with a focus on welding
• Experience from working in manufacturing industry
• Good knowledge of reading drawings
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Driving license B
• Forklift and overhead crane licenses

Meritorious:

• Experience in licensed welding where reading drawings has been a central part
